Within the framework of this project there will be decided such problems: 1) The new methods for the doping metals (for example, Ti, Ag, Pb, Ni) of C60 and C70 fullerene films will be developed. A correlation between parameters of the doping and irradiation process (dose, type) and structural characteristics of carbon nanomaterials (CNM) obtained will be established; 2) The optical properties (vibrational spectra, radiative recombination of excitons, optical conductance), an electrical conductivity and electronic structure of CNM obtained will be studied by the experimentally and theoretically. The main methodical approach of this project consists in the following: to combine within the project the use of: 1) the unique technology for synthesis and previous characterization of CNM (methods of the arc electric discharge, laser evaporation, a high resolution electronic microscopy), which the Belarusian partner owns; 2) the equipments for change (modification) of physical properties of CNM with the help electronic and ion beams (with energy from keV up to МeV), which the Ukrainian partner owns; 3) some the experimental methods (Raman spectroscopy, micro - and a X-ray diffraction, a tunnel electronic microscopy, an ellipsometry, four probe technique of measuring of an electrical conductivity), which the Ukrainian and Belarusian partners own; 4) the methods of the molecular dynamics and quantum chemistry for study of transport processes of a charge and a defect formation in CNM, which the Ukrainian partner owns.
