Aim of investigation - to research the peculiarities of attitudes among women who are suffering from depression and their adolescent children dependent on national social peculiarities and other factors. Method of investigation - clinico-psychopathological, psychometric, pathopsychological. Results of investigation - it was commended the special features of mothers' life history with recurrent depressive disorder who had adolescent children from Ukraine and Finland. It was analysed the mothers' influence, who were suffering from depression, on family functioning and the adaptive possibilities of their children in social environment. It was proposed the complex aproach to the treatment of mother recurrent depressive disorder which included medicamental and non-medicamental treatment, psychotherapy. It was revealed that the stable improvement of the mother's emotional condition promotes the normalization of internal family attitudes to emotional condition and the better child adaptation in social environment .
