Aim of the work: Improvement of system of sports preparation of athletes at stages of perennial improvement by working out of recommendation of sports training in cyclic and acyclic disciplines of track and field athletics. The purpose of researches: analysis of the research-methodical literature and the advanced sports practice, analysis of diaries of sportsmen, analysis of reports of competitions, questioning, modelling, pedagogical testing, methods of anthropometrical, ritmocardography, analysis of variability of heart rate, a videoshooting, stabilographya, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: Generalization result preliminary stage of the work, features of sports training in cyclic kinds of track and field athletics (run on 100 - 200 m, 800 - 1500 m, 5 000 - 10 000 m), acyclic kinds (long jump, high jump, triple jump, pole vault, hammer throw). Development practical recommendation of sports training in sprint and jumps in a year cycle of preparation, practical recommendation of estimation of physical condition or runners or middle distance, practical recommendation in run on long distances on base of account of the particularities of nervous system at stages of preparation to high achievement. Stage of implementation: the results of research are entered into process of preparation of a national team of a command of Ukraine on track and field athletics, practice of work of Federation of track and field athletics of Ukraine, in educational process of chair of track and field athletics of National university of physical education and sports of Ukraine that proves to be true corresponding certificates of introduction.
