Mechnikov National University popup.description2 The study of the influence of macrokinetic factors on the kinetics of CO oxidation over KNO-CO/NT catalyst has shown that the reaction proceeds in the kinetic region, i.e. it depends neither on the film, pore, and longitudinal diffusion nor on the wall effect. The optimal component com-position of Pd(II)-Cu(II)-Br-H2O/ТЕ multiple catalytic system has been determined by the study of the influence its components exert on the reaction characteristics, both kinetic and stoichiometric. Si/Al and Si/Fe ratios in compositions of two tripoli samples: untreated NT (Ki-rovograd region, Ukraine) and TZK-M (Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia) are evidence of Al2O3 and Fe2O3 (a minor amount) presence in the domestic tripoli. IR spectral, roentgenographic, and thermogravimetric studies have revealed significant differences in the structure of these tripolies and the systems supported on them. However, the comparison of kinetic study results in the case of CO oxidation with oxygen over KNO-CO/NT and KNO-CO/TZK-M catalysts show the simi-larity in the kinetic behavior, i.e. the similarity in the reaction mechanism. The both samples show the air cleaning from CO down to and below MPC. It indicates that there is no need in any prior chemical modification of NT for Al2O3 and Fe2O3 elimination, so, the process of catalyst manufacturing is simpler. KNO-CO/NT is suitable for its testing under laboratory and shop con-ditions. The long run tests of KNO-CO/NT catalyst under laboratory and shop conditions have been carried out. The aerodynamic resistance of a filter cartridge with KNO-CO/NT has been determined and the former has been admitted to meet the requirement of State Standard 12.4.041-89 SSBT for personal respiratory protection equipment of II protection class. So, KNO-CO/NT has been admitted as a suitable catalyst for the air cleaning from CO in the respiratory protective devices. The developed technical conditions TU U 24.6-02071091-002:2010 'KNO-CO/NT, catalyst for low-temperature air cleaning from carbon(II) oxide' have been allowed by State Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Institution, approved and registered by Odesskiy regionalniy tsentr standartizatsii, metrologii i sertifikatsii State Institution. They can be applied for the catalyst commercial manufacture. Product Description popup.authors Волкова В.Я. Кіосе Т.О. popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
