The aim of the investigations: to define the optimum thickness of growing of mother table beetroots, variety var. varidifolia, defining of the main growing parameters, which influence the seeds productivity and quality of seeds. The methods of investigations: - laboratory-field experience, relatively to the method of field experience in vegetable-growing. It has been determined that the highest output of mother beetroots is observed while growing them with the thickness level 150-200 thousand pieces/ha. The increasing of thickness of growing up to 250 thousands of pieces doesn't lead to the output increasing of mothering and the total yield of beetroots. The mother roots, which have been received from the thickness 100-150 thousand pieces/ha, have better seed production, and the same do the mother roots, which have been received from the later terms of sowing.
