It is decided, that raise of precision of the state primary standard of liquid volume unit ДЕТУ 03-03-97 in the most important rage from 100 cubic dm to 500 cubic dm is necessary. Efforts of errors of reproduction by the state primary standard of liquid volume unit taking into account atmospheric pressure, temperatures and humidity of air are carried out. Algorithms for the registration of atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity of air during determination of measuring tanks capacity are developed. Equipment of the primary standard by tanks for the distilled water storage which presence is very important as for raise of works efficiency on the primary standard, and for support of necessary precision of the primary standard is made. The water level attention device in measuring tanks is developed and made. Analysis of the level attention device have shown, that its usage allows to stop in due time pouring of water after automatic on of acoustical signal of this instrument. That, in turn, has allowed to make the pouring of water in measuring tanks immediately on the scales platform, instead of to transfer filled with water measuring tank on scales. By results of the carrying out analysis, taking into account modernization of standard, it is determined, that residual bias error of the standard in the values of water volume range from 0,001 cubic m (inclusively) to 0,1 cubic m (not switching on) and over 0,5 cubic m to 1 cubic m (inclusively) does not exceed 0,006 %, and over the values of water volume range from 0,1 cubic m (inclusively) to 0,5 cubic m (inclusively) - does not exceed 0,003 %.
