The main characteristics of ZnSe, CsI and CdWO4 scintillation crystals were researched; the main characteristics of X-ray detectors in the wide energy range were researched; brassboard of X-ray scanner was mounted; the possibilities of division of effective atomic numbers of "light" materials (Zeff 10) that differ by effective atomic number less than 10% (water - Н2ОБ, Zeff 7,42 and glycerine СН2ОНСНОНСН2ВОН Zeff 6,87) were researched.
