Crystals, grown by Bridgman and Chohralskyi methods, were the object of the research. The concentration of the doped admixture in the samples varied in the range 1.10-4 - 2.10-1 % Eu2+. The properties of the obtained samples were estimated by absorption, luminescence and kinetic measurements, as well as involving X-ray diffraction methods, atomic absorption analysis, infrared and scintillation spectroscopy.
