The research carried out at low background research plants of DAMA/ R&D project in the underground laboratory Gran Sasso showed high spectrometric quality of the crystals (energy resolution 12.6% from 137Cs) and record low inherent radiation background (total alpha-activity makes up 0,18 mBq/kg) among the known scintillation materials. ZnMоO4 crystals dimensions ? 40х80 mm were obtained. For the first time the properties of ZnМоO4 scintillator in the composite of cryogenic bolometric detector were examined.
