This method allowed us to determine main parameters of orientationally ordered wall-adjacent layers - OOWAL (thscknesses of OOWAL, order parameter of the layer and so on) and these parameters were sompared with analogous parameters that were measured for nitrobenzene interlayers symmetrically bouded by quartz substrates by spectral method. It was shown that for both cases in limits of OOWAL dimers dominate and, contrary, monomers dominate in limits of isotropic liquid. Theoretical model that gives an opportunity to determine conditions of different phase states realization (classical nematic, isotropic liquid or epitropic liquid crystal) was worked out.
