SUMMARY. Object of study - linear and hybrid material, varieties and hybrids of Brassica juncea L. Goal of study - creation of new highly adaptive varieties of Brassica juncea L with high seed quality score and reliable protection of harvest from harmful environmental factors. Methods of study - field - hybridization, selection, field sketching rating of resistance to hailing down, lodging, pests; - laboratory - oiliness, fatty acid composition, mass 1000 of seeds. During 2006-2010 years new material was created by hybridization method. Crossing was made by 305 hybrid combinations, including 61 in the year of 2010. In the reporting period starting material was studied in the field researches by the length of vegetation period, productivity, resistance to lodging, to hailing down, to drought and diseases. 47 variety numbers were selected with increased resistance to separate diseases and 29 variety numbers with complex resistance to major diseases (Olpidium brassicae, Pernosporoza brassicae, Alternaria brassicae, Phoma lingam). In the collection nursery 428 variety-patterns of genetic and geographic origin were studied. Samples with valuable adaptive abilities, resistible to adverse growing conditions, with excellent seed quality were identified. The best of them were included to hybridization for creation of new source material. In the hybrid nursery F1 264 hybrid combinations were studied. A massive selection was conducted. In crops F2 and further generations the individual selection of 1 555 plants was held and their descendants were studied. In the selection nursery 1 302 numbers were studied, including 240 in 2010. The best by the complex sings were taken and sown in the controlling nursery. During the reporting period in the controlling nursery, comparing to national standard variety "Tavrychanka" 75 numbers were studied. Phenological observations, evaluation for sustainability to hailing down to diseases were held, oiliness and fatty acid composition of seeds was determined. Rejections by harvest and other economically-valuable signs were made. In the previous variety testing in comparison with the national standard and new perspective varieties 54 varieties were studied. For further studying the varieties which exceeded existing standards by the rate of economically-valuable signs were selected. In the competition varieties testing 21 varieties were studied. The best of them were selected by many- years- data. According to the thematic plan two varieties of Brassica juncea L are passed to The State Variety Selection, which is: - variety " Felitsia" - with yields 2.2 tons per hectare, oil content 42%, with erucic acid to 4% - Class Xenia - with yields 2.4 tons per hectare, oil content 43%, with erucic acid 1%. In the links of primary seed was grown seeds of promising varieties in the amount needed for breeding, variety testing and production. Hybridization, MUSTARD bluish (sareptskaya), oilseeds, SELECTION, VARIETY. Product Description popup.authors Жирун Ганна Василівна Шолонкевич Іванна Миронівна popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
