SUMMARY. ABSTRACT Report on research: 37 p., 21 tab. The aim - Development of alternative direction in growing cruciferous crops using microbial preparations. Object of research - the plants of winter and spring rape at different stages of onto-genesis. In the course of scientific work there were conducted the research to determine the impact of nitrogen-fixing (Diazofit, Azotobacterin) and phosphormobilizet (Albobakteryn, Polimiksobakteryn) bacterial preparations on the growth, development of rape plants, their harvest of green mass and seeds. The results established that presowing seed inoculation had positive impact on growth, development and productivity of plants of winter and spring rape. In bacterial backgrounds after the three-year research were observed increasing of green mass of winter rape by 5-11%, and spring rape by 13-15% and dry matter by 6-12% and 7-13% respectively. Microbial preparations affect on the structure of winter rape plants. In most cases they improve it, increasing the quantitative indicators of vegetative and generative plant parts. Especially important was the increasing number of pods and seeds on the plant and the weight of 1000 seeds. The best results were obtained when plants were bacterized preparations by phosphormobilized. Presowing seed inoculation improves the productivity of plants of spring and winter rape. The dimensions of additions depends on growth conditions and bacterial preparations and the results of three-year observation was 11-24% for winter rape and 10-24% for spring rape. The highest seed yield for both forms of rape were at background of albobakteryn. As a result of production testing of inoculation of spring rape seeds before sowing by phosphormobilized preparations helped reduce production costs by 15-27 UAH/cwt and increased profitability by 15-30%. For winter rape these indices were: 20-25 UAH/cwt and 36-48% respectively. Cost of additional crop received due bacterizivg by Albobakteryn was 925 UAH/ha for spring rape and 1970 UAH/ha for winter rape. Application of microbial preparations before sowing is one way to increase net income and profitability of cruciferous seed crops. Taking into account environmental concerns by using chemicals preparations and fertilizers, as well as their cost, the introduction of biological methods in rape cultivating is actual and perspective.
