Research work report includes 28 pages, 17 tables, 4 appendixes. Object of research: brown Indian mustard (Brassica juncea), white mustard (Brassica hirta), black mustard (Brassica nigra). Purpose of research: - to study and improve the technologies of brown, white and black mustard cultivation using different fertilizing quotas, applying microelements, plant growth regulators and pesticides for ensuring optimal seed productivity and high production profitability; - to conduct the evaluation of phytosanitary condition of crops, seed productivity, qualitative and quantitative indicators and economic effectiveness of different technology variants of brown, white and black mustard cultivation. Methods of research: field, laboratory, calculation-comparative and statistical. In the research work 5 technology variants of brown, white and black mustard cultivation were studied with seed sowing norms at 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 million of similar seeds per hectare, different fertilizing doses and applying pesticides: variant 1 - without fertilizers, protection: Hinufur, 40% SC (1.5 l/cwt) Butisan, 40% SH (1.5 l/ha) + Command, 48% EC (0.1 l/ha), Nurelle D, 55% EC (0,6 l/ha) variant 2 - N20P20K20+N20; protection: Hinufur, 40% SC (1.5 l/cwt) Butisan, 40% SH (1.5 l/ha) + Command, 48% EC (0.1 l/ha), Nurelle D, 55% EC (0,6 l/ha) variant 3 - N40P40K40+N20, Kristalon (3 Kg/ha), Agrovital (0.7 l/ha); protection: Hinufur, 40% SC (1.5 l/cwt) Butisan, 40% SH (1.5 l/ha) + Command, 48% EC (0.1 l/ha), Nurelle D, 55% EC (0,6 l/ha) Dithane M-45, 80% WP (2.5 Kg/ha) variant 4 - N60P60K60+N30, Kristalon (5 Kg/ha), Agrovital (1.0 l/ha); protection: Hinufur, 40% SC (1.5 l/cwt) Butisan, 40% SH (1.5 l/ha) + Command, 48% EC (0.1 l/ha), Nurelle D, 55% EC (0,6 l/ha) Dithane M-45, 80% WP (2.5 Kg/ha) variant 5 - N90P90K90+N30; protection: Hinufur, 40% SC (1.5 l/cwt) Butisan, 40% SH (1.5 l/ha) + Command, 48% EC (0.1 l/ha), Nurelle D, 55% EC (0,6 l/ha) The same primary and presowing soil tillage was conducted for all research variants. Separately the research on studying the following objects was conducted: - the impact of primary soil tillage methods on the phytosanitary condition of crops, seed productivity, qualitative and quantitative seed indicators and economic effectiveness of white mustard cultivation; - the impact of sowing terms on vegetative periods, productivity, seed indicators of brown, white and black mustard; - the impact of soil and post-sprouting herbicides on crops clogging, biological effectiveness of drug application and seed productivity of brown mustard; The research results show that using plowing to a depth of 23-25 cm as a main tillage method in comparison with the two-step disk tillage to a depth of 12-15 cm helps decrease crops clogging of white mustard by 20.5%, conditioned seed productivity - 1.22 t/ha (using two-step disk tillage - 1.14 t/ha), seed cultivation productivity using the plowing method increases by 6.2%. The optimum sowing forms higher mustard seed productivity and helps increase oil and raw protein content in seeds. Sowing with a 10 days lag decreases the productivity of brown, white and black mustard by 16.7-23.2%. Sowing with a 20 days lag decreases the productivity by 49.2-55.4%. During the research of different technology variants the dependence of brown, white and black mustard seed productivity from application of different doses of fertilizers, microelements, fungicides and plant growth regulators was observed. The processing of seeds with insecticidal disinfectant Hinufur, 40% SC (1.5 l/cwt) reduces mustard sprouts corruption with cruciferous fleas by 77.6-90.3%. The application of insecticides Nurelle D, 55% EC (0,6 l/ha) reduces mustard bud corruption with rape blossom-eater by 84.9-89.6%. The application of contact fungicides Dithane M-45, 80% WP reduces alternariosis spreading by 42.8-25.8% (with applying 2.0 Kg/ha) and by 51.2-53.4% (with applying 2.5 Kg/ha). The highest conditioned seed productivity was obtained with the variant 5 (N90P90K90+N30) and the sowing norm at 2.0 million of similar seeds per hectare: brown mustard - 2.24 t/ha; white mustard - 1.67 t/ha and black mustard - 1.52 t/ha. Somewhat lower productivity was obtained with the variant 4 (N60P60K60+N30) and the same sowing norm, namely: brown mustard - 1.91 t/ha; white mustard - 1.50 t/ha and black mustard - 1.39 t/ha. The 4th and 5th variants have provided the highest net profit: for brown mustard - 1733 and 3134 UAH/ha, for white mustard - 1296 and 2224 UAH/ha, for black mustard - 1372 and 2087 UAH/ha. The mustard cultivation profitability for these variants is as follows: for brown mustard - 61.3 and 87.4%, for white mustard - 44.5 and 60.6%, for black mustard - 43.2 and 57%. The developed variants of brown, white and black mustard cultivation technologies can be successfully implemented at sowing farms of West Region of Ukraine. Key words: mustard, fertilizers, economic effectiveness, soil tillage, pesticides, profitability, productivity.
