Results of research : Spread frequency of gene polymorphous variants, candidates associated with capability for intensive physical work, in Ukrainian population has been set. The most favorable combination of gene polymorphisms has been defined , it conditions sportsmen competition results in light athletics jumping. Probable difference in gene variants spread between groups of highly qualified athletes - jumpers and sportsmen of other power-speed kinds oа sports has been set. Has been determined distribution of the allelic variants of connective tissue genes in the athletes of different kinds of sports.
