The ability of unfavorable occupational factors to result in changes of immunological parameters, haemostasis, blood lipids which may impact the pathogenesis of the acute forms of coronary heart disease was revealed. The influence of harmful occupational conditions results in the earlier manifestation of myocardial infarction and unstable angina as well as the smaller quantity of generally accepted risk factors. The clinical course of the myocardial infarction in patients observed had higher incidence of complications and higher death rate. Continuous work in the harmful conditions and alcohol abuse leads to the occurrence of cardiomyopathy due to apoptosis of cardiomyocytes. The influence of the complex treatment with addition of the lipid soluble ACE inhibitors, carvedilol, spironolactone and metabolic therapy (corvitin, amaranth oil) on the course of myocardial infarction, unstable angina and alcohol cardiomyopathy was assessed and the necessity of their administration in the acute forms of coronary heart disease and alcohol cardiomyopathy was evidenced. The number of guidelines on the diagnostics and treatment of coronary heart disease and alcohol cardiomyopathy were elaborated and introduced in the work of practical healthcare establishemnets.
