As a result, it is shown the role of lectins in the functioning of symbiosis and the relationship between the nitrogen- and lectin activities of various symbiotic systems. The effect of root and seed exudates of legumes and biologically active substances of rhizobia on symbiotic properties of macro- and microsymbionts are investigated. The changes in protein composition of roots and nodules of soybean, inoculated with genetically modified strains of nodule bacteria are analyzed. It is obtained the collection of new strains of nodule bacteria and studied their physiological, biochemical and symbiotic features.
