Mechanisms of anticancer and antimicrobial landomycin E activities (induction of apoptose and oppression of DNA repair) were defined. Some properties of 13 newly found antibiotics, positive regulators of biosynthesis of landomycin E (3 kinds), row of plasmids and restriction endonucleases were found, purified and investigated. High-active strains of producers of landomycin E, beta-carotene, lycopene and polymixin B were selected.
