Y., Registration Date 02-02-2011 Organization Lviv Polytechnic National University popup.description2 The structure of the neural system for efficient synthesis of multi-criterion optimal control vector for controlling melting regimes in three-phase arc furnaces and subsystem for its information provision were developed. The hierarchical system of multi-loop implementation of the mentioned optimal control with energy saving criteria was created. Mathematical models, system, schematic and algorithmic solutions for the synthesis of optimal control of melting regimes and qualitative control and stabilization of local subsystems coordinates to adapt to changes in the parameters of the power circuit and the characteristics of disturbances in the melting space of the arc furnace were substantiated. A prototype of neural network system for the rapid synthesis of optimal control of melting regimes was created and its research on the furnace LLC "NPP Rozdіl" in New Rozdil was conducted. The obtained results showed complex improvement in the electrotechnological efficiency of arc furnaces, in particular, a simultaneous decrease of the power losses in the short network elements by 2-3%, reduction of specific electricity consumption for smelting by 4-5% and increase of furnace productivity on average by 2.5%.
