For fulfilling the task laboratory and field phytopathologic, entomologic, immunologic, breeding, statistic methods of investigations have been used. The breeding material of 3436 specimens in total number with resistance to 22 pathogenic organisms has been investigated. In the conditions of the infectious sites the hybridic material of winter bread wheat developed in the laboratory (392 specimens of 270 combinations), spring bread wheat (47 sps) and peas (59 lines) have been studied. Among breeding materials from the competitive and previous variety-trialing of spiked cereal and grain-leguminous cultures 61 lines-sources of individual resistance to separate diseases and 2 lines- sources of group and complex resistance to diseases and pests have been revealed; the original material combining group and complex resistance to pathogens with economic traits has been developed: 3 pea, 3 kidney-bean and 3 spring bread wheat lines hav been registered and introduced into the breeding programs; and 25 lines of winter bread wheat and 13 lines of peas have been transferred to the trials to NCPGRU; the method for estimating complex resistance of spring spiked crops to a series of diseases and intra-stalk pests by means of autumn sowing has been worked out.
