For fulfilling the task field phytopathological, immunological, breeding methods and methods of hybridological and systemic analyses have been used. The specificity of genetic control of resistance to diseases has been studied, such as: hybridic material of winter wheat created on the basis of 7 sources of resistance to septoriose; 115 hybrids of maize and their parental lines - to Fusarium stalk rot; 39 hybrids of sunflower and their parental lines - to phomopsis. On the basis of the definite parametres for the morphological characters of maize lines and hybrids (plant height, ear attachment height, stalk diametre) the analytical model of a maize genotype resistant to Fusarium stalk rot has been constructed. A complex genetic control of inheritance of the affection level in both sunflower hybrids parental forms by phomopsis pathogene has been determined. The parental forms with high genetic value as to resistance to diseases have been isolated. For the genetical investigations a method for measuring damage of spiked cereal and grain-leguminous crops by leaf diseases which provide a high degree of estimate's precision with the help of computer hardware has been elaborated and a technique for creating an artificial infectious site of Fusarium stalk rot.
