Methods: general scientific problem as to the establishment of peculiarities in variation, correlations and heritance, genetical features, heritability, combining ability and efficiency of the recombination of traits in new mutant and collection varietal forms. Results: 10957 entries of the original material of spring barley have been created and used in breeding, out of these 783 lines, including 62 have been transferred to the National Centre for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine (NCPGRU), 8 lines of these have got the certificates of plant gene pool registration.
