Aim: to develop mathematical models and computational algorithms for computer analysis of scattering and focusing of electromagnetic waves. Method of research: mathematical modeling of electromagnetic fields as solutions of Maxwell's equations. We have developed the discrete numerical algorithms for studying two-dimensional dielectric lenses and cavities of arbitrary shape. We have improved projection and Nystrem type methds for simulation of scattering and focusing of waves by straight and curved reflectors. We have developed a method of analytic regularization of dual integral equations for three-dimensional modeling of wave scattering on thin metallic and dielectric disks and a calculate the scattering vector-wave-beams in metallic and resistive disks. Ww have developed sophisticated mathematical and electromagnetic model for the calculation of three-dimensional scattering of electromagnetic waves by a perfectly conducting screen in the form of a surface of revolution of arbitrary shape and used it to study focusing and scattering properties of such screens. We have built efficient numerical methods for analyzing wave scattering by infinite lattice of circular dielectric cylinders and their finite ensemble. We have developed an evolutionary type numerical algorithms for antenna arrays and systems optimization.
