The annotated list of mayflies of the Europe (143 species) and the Western Palearctic (354 species) are presented. During the field trips more than 150 semi-quantitative zoobenthos' samples in the Crimea and the Caucasus were selected. The revision of fossil representatives of the genus Siphloplecton (described 4 new species) is presented. A new order of Cretaceous insects Coxoplectoptera ord. n. is described from the Cretaceous deposits of Brazil. The new order is established for Mickoleitiidae fam. nov., with monotypic genus Mickoleitia longimanus gen. n. & sp. n.
