Methods of research: clinical, immunological, biochemical, mathematical. The changes were detected in the state of protein and mineral metabolism of bone tissue in children with acute leukemia. During initial period of disease the excretion of oxyproline with urine was heightened, the level of glycine, praline, asparaginic acid was lowered; this indicates the destruction of collagen. It was established, that changes in the excretion of calcium phosphate, amino acids misbalance in urine is followed by manifestations of osteoporosis.
