A selection of participants of liquidation of consequences of Chernobyl catastrophe, suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, formed the observation group and developed and standard protocol of respiratory disorders and intracardial circulation. Chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are the most common respiratory diseases in victims of the Chernobyl accident according to clinical and epidemiological register. The increase in the proportion of COPD in the structure of the general pathology of the respiratory system among the participants of the Chernobyl liquidators was marked. In the group of participants of the Chernobyl liquidators compared with the control revealed a more violation ratio in lung volumes and diffuse lung function, often revealed pulmonary hypertension. With the progression of the disease indicated a tendency to dilatation of the right ventricle with the formation of its diastolic dysfunction. The informative diagnostic measures, aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and COPD prognosis determination in the victims of the Chernobyl catastrophe in the remote period include spirometry, bodipletizmography, the definition of lung diffusion capacity, research intracardial hemodynamics.
