Research subject: development of mathematical models methodics of calculation and software for grids automated control to increase their reliability with the use of the synchronized measuring of voltage phasors and microprocessor terminals of relay protection and automation of new modifications. Methodics of the use of voltage phasors (WAM-systems) have been developed for EPS state estimation and for estimation of steady state stability level in the EPS sections. Methodics and software have been developed for the automated calculations by the personal computers of short circuit currents in the nodes of complex electric network of ЕPS and determination of settings of EPS protection units in the microprocessor devices of REL521 of the company АВВ, which are used on 750, 400, 330, 220 and 110kV overhead lines. Software for settings determination of REL521 protection units and for medium-term forecasting of electro-consumption and electro-loading of UPS of Ukraine are already used in the National Power Company "Укренерго". Practical use of other results of the work in the grids of Ukraine is in plans on the nearest period.
