It was advanced of physical and mathematical components of reversible hydrogen embrittlement model for metals with bcc lattice. In the model was take into account a localized plasticity caused by the negative impact of hydrogen concentrated around edge dislocations in dislocation pile-up zones. Computer calculations taking into account influence of hydrogen-enhanced localized plasticity effect has been made. It was shown metal becomes more sensitive to hydrogen embrittlement at grain downsizing, although the absolute value of fracture stress increases. A pilot experiments have been made to verify theoretical model. At qualitative level experimental data confirm calculations results about dependence between a size of grain and sensitivity of metal to hydrogen embrittlement.
