The aim of the study was to investigate the mechanisms of uPAR signaling through transactivation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in human breast adenocarcinoma cell line MCF-7 as well as the regulatory role of adaptor protein Ruk/CIN85 in these processes. The obtained results indicate the involvement of adaptor protein Ruk/CIN85 in the functioning of plasminogen activation system in human breast adenocarcinoma cells through the activation of signaling pathways, increase of PAI-1 expression level as well as activity of HIF-1alfa та NF-kappaB transcription factors.
