Documentation required for state registration of the drug "Metovitan, were developed together with ZAT "Technolog", the registration dossier was formed in the whole and the application for state registration was made. It was conducted research on animals to verify the possibility of replacing the raw material for one of the components of the drug - DL-methionine (racemic amino acid methionine) on the L-methionine (a natural compound). Analysis of the results of the experimental data indicates the nonequivalence of such a replacement, which is consistent with the literature data.
