It was shown that thermomechanical treatment of plates at the end of finish rolling one-phase ausenit at temperatures within the single-phase austenitic range and the subsequent accelerated product cooling ensure formation of a uniform fine-grain structure of ferrite+bainite type, stable high quantities of Shear rations ar in fractures and high cold resistance of steel. In the process of thermomechanical rolling, when rolling is finished at two-phases area temperaure the two-phase range of ferrite- perlite structure is formed which does not ensure high levels of indices DWTT and cold resistance characteristic to a steel with ferrite-bainite structure.
