Results: a less effect of decrease in winter and frost hardiness of winter bread wheat was characteristic for a Ppd-A1a allele, a bit more for Ppd-A1a, and considerable for Ppd-D1a. By degree of decreasing winter and frost hardiness different Vrd genotypes were distributed as follows: vrd1 vrd2 ? vrd1 Vrd2 <Vrd1 vrd2 = Vrd1 Vrd2. Allele differences of gene Rht8 were not connected with winter hardiness of plants in the phase of tillering or seedlings. Introduction: a genetically identified initial material has been developed from crossing genotypes different in frost hardiness, requirements in vernalization, photoperiodic sensitivity, and other morphological and agronomical characteristics of genotypes.
