Results: it was found that interclonal hybrids of alfalfa possess high level of heterosis and fodder productivity; positive correlation between an increase in fodder yield and duration of autumn vegetation has been found; varieties with reduced dormant period have been developed. Introduction: two varieties of alfalfa – Laska and Yuzhanka were transferred to the State Variety Trial.
