The comparative analysis of the findings on the activity of TPM on dentistry of private and state sectors in Ukraine during 2009 was held. The materials on the state of dental service in Ukraine during 29 years (from 1981 to 2009) were studied. The analysis of the state of dental service and dental aid, taking into consideration the personnel, social, financial and insurance components, was given. The deep analysis of the conditions of formation of the Ukrainian market of dental service was held. As the result of the work, the authors have made some certain important suggestions for the improvement of dental service in Ukraine.
