The object of this scientific-research work is thermoelectric cooling devices based on a combination of powerful large-scale cooling thermoelectric modules with heat pipes that are effective means of heat transfer in a concentrated heat source in a confined space. The objective of the scientific-research work is to develop a design and technological features of manufacture and performance characteristics of large-scale thermoelectric modules with heat pipes. To ensure effective cooling and heat transfer, computer optimization of large-scale thermoelectric modules was carried out, their design was developed, and adjusted technology and special precision equipment was used at module manufacture. Additional research and optimization calculations of heat pipes allowed to ensure effective thermal combination with powerful thermoelectric cooling modules, to improve the resource capabilities of these devices. The achieved results enable further improvement of thermoelectric cooling devices with high values of cooling capacity for wide-range application in different economic sectors, especially in electronics and instrument engineering.
