The object of research is measuring thermoelectric energy conversion of broadband AC signals (from fractions of Hertz to hundreds megahertz) and signal arbitrary form into DC thermoelectric power. The objective is to create scientific bases for the development of high accuracy semiconductor thermoelectric AC converters, to produce model and experimental samples of new transducers, and to study them on direct and alternating currents. Research methods include computer simulation methods of thermoelectric measuring converters, physical methods of experimental research. Temperature distributions in thermoelectric measuring converters, in which significant reduction of the impact of Thomson effect on the accuracy of direct current convertion (0,005-0,0005%) and the possibility of expanding the range of operating frequencies, is expected, are obtained by computer simulation method. Physical model of semiconductor thermoelectric converter, in which the action of the thermopile with a variable thermocouple length is realized, is investigated. It was determined that with the use of the heater of manhanin type alloy and thermocouples of Bi2Te3 material, at cross section of thermoelement legs of 50x50 mkm, asymmetry error for seven thermocouples might be in the range 0,005- 0,0005%. A new method of manufacturing micro thermopiles and thermoelectric converters with high identity of current-voltage characteristics at 0,02- 0,005%, is created. In the range of output thermoelectric power alteration from 10 to 100 mV, the change in selected nominal value does not exceed 0,5% within 1 hour. The results of scientific-research work are implemented in "Military secondary standard of voltage unit".
