The aim of research is to determine the direction of introgression of alien genetic material, which possesses resistance genes to fungal wheat diseases, in terms of homoeological group of chromosomes and chromosome arm location related to centromere. Methods of study are elecrtophoretic separation of proteins and DNA fragments, polymerase chain reaction, cytological, visual, and statistical methods. In T. aestivim / Ae. sharonensis introgressive lines the resistance gene to powdery mildew agent is dominant and confers complete resistance to the disease. The way of this gene expression and inheritance refers it to R-genes of resistance, which are race-specific. This gene was transferred via 3Sl.3DL translocation in ten lines, and via 3Sl.3DS translocations in three introgressive lines. The way of inheritance (incomplete dominance and recessive alleles in some lines) and functioning, which were interpreted after the trait expression in segregating hybrid generations, refers the resistance genes, transferred to introgressive lines from Ae. speltoides, Ae. umbellulata та T. miguschovae, to the class of PR-genes that confer horizontal resistance to the agent. Resistance genes from Ae. speltoides were transferred to genomes of introgressive lines via translocations of alien chromosome on long arms of chromosomes of 1st and 6th homoeological groups. According to the results of segregation observed in hybrid populations developed from cyclic crosses, ten resistant lines with translocations of 3Ab, 3Dm 6Dm chromosomes on wheat chromosomes of A and D subgenomes differed one from another in ont-three PR-genes.
