The purpose of the study - to determine the effect of precursors and parts of crop rotation on the productivity of sunflower plants under various fertilizer systems, establishing the reaction of varieties and hybrids in the dose of nitrogen-phosphate fertilizers in crop rotations short rotation southern steppes of Ukraine. Methods of research - a field, supplemented by laboratory, department of mathematics and statistics and mathematical economics. Established that the sharp decline in yield of sunflower seeds due to the complex factors that lead from which an increase in the proportion of culture in crop pattern and cut his rotation with an average of 7-10 to 3 years and as a consequence of violations of the water regime of soil and its pest status. According to our observations, the negative effect of reducing the period of rotation of sunflower is significantly reduced at a sufficient level of moisture, use of mineral fertilizers, selection of favorable predecessors, etc. Wide range of varieties and hybrids that are listed in the Register of varieties of Ukraine allows selection of those that are genetically based immunity or resistance to major diseases and broomrape. Study of a number of varieties and hybrids during 2006-2010, in crop rotation with a three-year rotation, different backgrounds revealed the level of food crop yields from 24.2 to 34.3 cwt/ ha, and immune to broomrape.
