The aim - to study the reaction of crops and varieties grown in different ways depending on the moisture content of plants, to improve existing and develop new technologies of cultivation of cereal crops. The developed technology provides for cultivation of winter crops is not only the best predecessors (fallow, legumes, perennial grasses), but also for the worst, but more common in recent years (corn silage stubble predecessors, canola, sunflower, etc.) . It includes a differentiated approach to the treatment of soil, selection of varieties, planting, fertilizing, chemical plant protection system, depending on the crops and its predecessor, the agro-climatic conditions, economic feasibility of specific agricultural practices and other factors. The developed technology allows to obtain grain yield of winter wheat at 10-15 cwt / ha higher than in growing this crop on conventional farms in the area. The quality of grain is not below grade 3, 2-3 grade higher than conventional technology. Guaranteed economic effect - 300-600 (in some years up to 2000) USD / ha of additional net profit. The economic effect of the use of this technology for growing winter barley, triticale and rye is much lower than in growing winter wheat and depends heavily on the volatility of the agricultural products and logistical resources, and in the best years may reach 800-1000 UAH / ha.
