Optimization of electrophysical and physical-mechanical properties of fuel cell working element. popup.stage_title Head Konstantinova Tatyana Yevgenivna, Registration Date 02-03-2011 Organization A.A. Galkin Physics and Engineering Institute of National Academy of Science of the Ukraine popup.description2 It was spent optimizations of parameters of processes of nanopowders and ceramic materials obtaining for fuel cell elements. Studying of influence of additional doping by base system ZrO2 - Y2O3 (YSZ) CeО2 and mix of rare-earth elements on electrophysical, physicomechanical properties and structure of fuel element electrolyte and also influence of chemical compound on ceramics sintering processes is continued. Additional doping by ZrO2-Y2O3 CeO2 and mix of rare-earth elements oxides leads to reduction of sintering temperature and improvement of physical-mechanical properties of electrolit material. It was spent studying of process of nickel oxide restoration in a layer of the anode depending on density of initial composite material, from temperature, restoration time and hydrogen stream. It is shown that nickel restoration in anode layer begins at temperature 400°С and completely passes at 800°С at stream Ar-10%H2 in 200 ml/min. Thus there is formation of additional porosity, change of pores morphology at the expense of their coagulation at temperature increasing and formation of polycrystalline nickel particles. Formation of additional porosity leads to decrease in destruction durability of anode material. Measurement of volt-ampere characteristics of planar fuel cell is spent at temperatures 800-1000°С at different streams of hydrogen. It was received maximum value of pressure 0,75 V, the maximum specific current 65 mА/cm2 and specific capacity 12-13 mW/cm2 is received at hydrogen stream 60 ml/min.
