Aim of study: to raise the efficiency of treatment in patients with thyroid papillary carcinomas on the basis of styding distant results of treatment, to assess the influence of risk factors on 5-, 10- and 15-years survival and lethality. To study psychosocial aspects of life quality and to determine the adaptation reactions in patients after radical treatment of thyroid papillary cancer. Methods: cinicoepidemiological, morphological, statistical. Basic and practice results: for the first time a detailed analysis of results for treating thyroid papillary cancers (survival,lethality, relapses) in cohort of patients who in children and adolescents ages were living in regions, suffered from consequences of accident at the Chornobyl AEPS that is those observations of cancer that can be qualified as radiationinduced ones. For the first time the prognostic analysis was realized and an effect of principal risk factors on results of surgical treatment of thyroid papillary carcinoma arised in population of the Ukraine during the postaccidental period at the Chernobyl AEPS were studied. Medical psychosocial aspects of life qulity were for the first time examined, quantitative indices of individual health, adaptation reactions were assessed in patients who were operated for thyroid papillary carcinoma. Novelty: obtained results of surgical treatment of patients with thyroid papillary carcinoma allowed to formulate practical recommendations on the question of tactics and volume for operative intervention in minimal invasive incapsulated carcinomas, wide invasive forms of cancer, recurrences of disease and primery non-radical operative interventions that is protocol for treatment of thyroid papillary carcinomas adopted to the conditions of postaccidental situation in the Ukraine. At first new method for treatment recurrence of thyroid cancers and nodular forms of goiter is proposed.Implementation: obtained data will be used for raising the efficiency of treatment and life quality in patients with thyroid papillary carcinoma.
