The objective of research is determination of ways of providing availability and quality of ensuring primary medical care on the basis of family medicine to the region (administrative unit) and development of appropriate methodic recommendations. Methods of research are as follows: sociological, statistic, clinic, experimental, expert, structural and functional analysis, mathematical, normative, the method of modeling, economic. Due to the results of complex medical and sociologic investigation the ways of providing availability of and quality of ensuring primary medical care on the basis of family medicine to the region (administrative unit) are determined. According to the development of preventive medical care in the structure of family medicine the most optimal models of providing medical care for women and children on the territory where family doctors work are developed; measures to be taken as for development of health care system of the region on the basis of family medicine are defined; the influence of medical care development on the basis of family medicine upon the population health state is studied; the trends of increasing of positive influence of family medicine on these findings are formulated.
