A purpose of work is an increase of mechanical properties of valkiv with a working layer from high-chromic cast-iron, that estimated after koercitive force, by the use of new materials, optimization of chemical composition, processes of modification and heat treatment. Research methods: metalografichniy, chemical, mikrorentgenospektral'niy, X-ray, spectral, and also estimation of koercitive force, hardness. The statistical processing of experimental data is carried out. Recommendations are developed, in relation to the choice of the most effective parameters of heat treatment, and the norms of marriage of estimation of properties are inculcated by an undestructive method. The features of forming of structure of working layer of massive wares are analysed - rollers with a working layer from high-chromic cast-iron, ways are indicated for its optimization. Conformities to the law of struktur are generalized and dependences are set between hardness of working layer of wares from high-chromic cast-iron and coercive force, which it is suggested to utillize for the ground of directions of increase of level of descriptions. New composition of high-chromic cast-iron is developed, certainly optimum correlation of amount of modifiers, modes of heat treatment, that allowed to promote the complex of mechanical properties of working layer of wares on the average on 20-30%.
