Aim of work: to develop way of carbon sequestration in soil humus as a component of greenhouse gases: to assess possibility and volume of carbon sequestration in soil humus under conventional and soil conservation technologies of crop growing. Methods: field, laboratory. Results: it was established that decreasing of intensity of soil destruction under soil conservation technologies allows to sequestrate in humus up to 1.1 t/ha carbon per year in chernozem typical and up to 0.3-0.5 t/ha carbon per year in chernozem ordinary.
