At erectile dysfunction Na+,K+-ATPase activity is also decreased, that leads to Na+ accumulation in cytosol and cell function breach. H+-ATPase activity reduction in mitochondria shows cell energy deficiency. With the age this lowering more expressed. Polyethiological erectile dysfunction at the presence of dyslipidemia is accompanied by Ca2+,Mg2+-ATPases activity decrease both in plasmatic membrane and endoplasmatic reticulum, that shows Ca2+ cell overload and cell regulation mechanisms impairment. Endothelial NO-synthase activity that produces secondary messenger NO was studied in parallel. It was shown that it activity at different forms of erectile dysfunction decreases. It was set that peripheral blood lymphocytes clearly reflects functional state of the body and may serve as adequate model for biochemical indicators studying, that are responsible for erectile dysfunction development. ATP-hydrolases activities may grow into new additional diagnostic criterium for erectile dysfunction assessment.
