The Aim of the scientific investigation is the introduction of DNA markers during molecular-genetic monitoring of cattle and horses breeds. The basic methods used in the investigation are: molecular-genetic methods - selection and preparation of the probes, DNA extraction, definition of DNA concentration, spectrophotometric methods, allele specific PCR, multiplex PCR polymorphism of the restrictive fragments' length (PLRF), automatic DNA synthesis, PCR products cloning in plasmid vectors and transformation of definite strains (E. coli) by genetic constructions; biometric methods of statistic analysis using modern computer programs. General laboratory equipment: centrifuges, scales, pH instruments, magnet mixers, stoves, thermostats, desiccators, refrigerators, spectrophotometers etc. Specific laboratory equipment: analytical mixer, PCR boxes, thermal cyclers, Detection System PCR-RT, genetic analyzer and DNA-synthesizer. Theoretical and practical results and novelty: The early diagnosis test system of bovine productivity using QTL-markers was developed and optimized. The populations of black- and red-spotted cattle breed were genotyping using the genes of quantitative traits. The multiplex panels for DNA typing for cattle and horses using the SSR-markers were developed and optimized. The 50 goals gray Ukrainian cattle, 102 heads of horses Ukrainian breed and 20 heads of Gutsul horses were genotyped for the certification and identification.
