An urgency of a theme research. Development of modern tourism makes exclusive impact on different spheres of a public life. Therefore there is a requirement for all-round judgement of a phenomenon of tourism. Formation of culture of Donetchiny - process difficult and inconsistent as it have affected both external, and internal factors. Cultural-informative tourism in Donetchine without the special program of service is not attractive and cannot meet the requirements of more and more whimsical and exacting tourists. We hope that the given research will assist development of the tourist area focused on internal tourism. Research objective. To find out features of formation of culture of Donetchiny in socially-psychological and historical and cultural measurements. The object in view provides the decision of following problems: to allocate common features of historical and cultural development of Donetchiny; to define factors of external and internal influence on cultural processes of the given region; to analyse development of the Ukrainian literature of Donetchiny, having allocated its prominent features; to try to allocate national-psychological features of Ukrainians of Donbass; to characterise measurements of tourist business as segment of a cultural life of a society; to define specificity of functioning of tourism as characteristic phenomenon in the conditions of modern globalisation of the world. Novelty of research, first of all, consists in attempt to study the complex analysis of process formation and formation of culture of Donetchiny, first of all Ukrainian, in socially-psychological and historical and cultural aspects. Among the main research receptions methods of the structural analysis and synthesis, comparative-historical were used. Authors tried to work in a channel civilization the approach to the analysis of the historical and cultural phenomena, avoiding bias and bias. The theoretical and practical importance of research. Results of research represent scientific interest for experts of different fields of knowledge - historians, culturologists, sociologists, psychologists, ethnodens and т.п. The Main conclusions of the given research can be used at preparation of the courses, which connected with problems of tourist business. Some results of work can be used at creation of new excursion routes and carrying out of the further scientific researches.
