Departmental-level SD elaboration was conditioned byneed to raise competitiveness of Ukrainian seaports with the purpose of additional (mainly transit) freight traffic attraction. Implementation of the elaborated SD will allow on state level to assess and submit proposals for satisfaction of needs of Ukraine in production capacities for commercial seaports for long-term periods.
