A method of high-power optical vortices generating by ABO crystals twisting was proposed. It was established that recently proposed high-precision method with torsion using to measure piezooptic coefficients allows to determine not only the absolute value of the coefficients, but their sign too. The correlation between the spin angular momentum of the beam and piezooptic coefficients was derived. The propagation of Bessel beams through induced biaxial crystal, which arises from the uniaxial crystal under the influence of mechanical twisting around its optical axis, was considered.
