To achieve this goal it was necessary to solve important scientific and applied problem - to develop new scientific concept and mathematical models to analyze the cumulative influence of various defects in the polymeric insulation EHV cables on the local electric field amplification and to determine criteria for assessment of the insulation quality taking into additional account the critical strained volumes and aggregate of closely spaced micro-defects, the sizes of which may be less critical ones. It was also important to develop the methods and recommendations for optimization of manufacturing technologies of nano-modified three-layer polymeric insulation in vulcanizing chamber of inclined type to support scientific and technological development for the first time in the CIS industrial production of domestic EHV cables with a performance of world level.
