Using fluorescence spectroscopy and electron microscopy technique lysozyme amyloid fibrils and their complexes with liposomes were visualized. Shown that mature fibrils practically do not influence on the structural state of the hydrophobic part of the lipid bilayer, while protein oligomers induce a high increase of the density of the lipid acyl chains packing. In the polar region of the model membranes, which was studied by Laurdan and MBA, the decrease of the hydration and restriction of the mobility of lipid molecules were observed, and the influence of mature fibrils was more significant compared to membrane-acting activity of oligomers.
